The Canakkale Art Prize is an opportunity for the people of Turkey, Australia and New Zealand to commemorate together the legacy of those heroes that fought during the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915. The Gallipoli Memorial Club and its partners work with artists to deliver and important message – that the deeds and spirit of those heroes shall never be forgotten.

It is not surprising that each year so many artists find inspiration in a story so full of profound emotions and the spirit of those heroes.
